The InterGLAM working groups represented collaborative efforts between multi-disciplinary professionals on the topics of the InterGLAM track in Lisbon Addictions 2022, to produce briefing documents, sessions and publications in 5 priority areas (and strengthened applications fo an I·G bursary).
In preparation for the co-produced thematic track 'Global perspectives on addictions and drug markets' of the 4th European Conference on Addictive Behaviours and Dependencies (LxAddictions22), Inter·GLAM created multi-sectoral, international working groups focused on the five sub-topics of the Inter·GLAM track (see below). Each group comprised multi-disciplinary professionals, who participated in virtual working meetings with the following goals:
- Act as a panel of experts on priorities for the five sub-topics in different parts of the world;
- Gather and organize information on the sub-topics and input to a scoping paper for possible publication;
- Collaborate on the co-creation of the Inter·GLAM track;
- Identify relevant organizations and potential applicants for attendance bursaries at LxAddictions22
Participation in one or more working groups on the sub-topics was compatible with an application for a conference attendance bursary, and such collaboration was favourably considered in the competitive selection process.
